a trip to gryphie's nest

my dear bros.. jasper would noe wad i'm gonna talk bt. haha. man. went back to RI ealier. knocked off early, my OPS WO dropped me off braddell rd and when i walked to e bus stop outside RI.. i hesitated for a moment. e very same gate i walked thru everyday for 4 yrs of my teenage yrs.. couldnt fight it. hah. walked past a few grps of boys. probably uniform grp shit. haha doing footdrills @ e area rite up e stairs.. u noe. outside e ORA office dere.. well before i knew it i was in Mrs Theresa Lai's office. haha.. she recognised me immediately and we talked n talked non stop. (: it took awhile before she got my name but yea.. she knew who i was. haha. i love Mrs Lai man. im talking bt love for a teacher those kinda love my frens. She, to me, is the bestest teacher on earth man. forever giving me encouraging words. well we caught up and talked abit abt e future and all.. everything. she was so nice to put away her work jus to talk to me. and i reallie appreciate tt. ah.. well after some 40 mins plus of talking i left to stop disturbing her n she walked me out, parting with a pat on my shoulders.. so fairytale. time reallie flies man. ha. went upstairs looked ard. bumped into Desmond Tan n the first thing he said was " u're smthg KUAN rite? haha. remember u as the damn whacky emcee for ur grad nite." haha. we talked a lil. he was busy. then saw Tan Puay Hock coaching a student one to one. such is e love of RI tchrs. din disturb him. went into the staff room tried calling Ho Wai Ling but guess she went home alr. so i walked towards the gate behind e sch hall.. walked past e students. boys trg for rugby..softball..NCC..Badminton.. so happy in their own world. nolstagia struck. if i were to lose my memories ever the last thing i wanna lose in my head are e days spent in RI. man.. guys. think i've said this before.. but im gonna say it again. e best place to visit, jus to find urself again whenever u're lost somehow due to external factors.. is back home. back to e nest. back where we all belong.
